The security was very good at the hotel. The security staff verified our identity consistantly. The housekeeping staff maintained our room very well and kept up our sheets and emptied/replaced our trashbags daily.
nothing I can complain about off hand came up while we stayed at the hotel.
I liked the location, the security, and the price. It would have been really nice to have a few coat hangers, and another chair.
The fact it is near to most places i was interested. I was having a meeting at Hilton Atlanta. I loved the hotel because it is at walking distance from the Hilton Atlanta.
Though it is at walking distance to get into most of my business places, I was informed that the area around was unsecured. I have seen some people siting around the hotel. That was frightening for me because that was my first time to be in the USA. But nothing happened to me.
Too noisy - unsafe location
The fact that there was 24hr security, and fortunate for us his station was right outside of our door.
The idea that there needed to be 24hr security because of the location.
I liked laundry room to wash my clothes.
Air conditioner did not work, maybe it was out of order.
Too much smoke of cigarrete.
Having a bed to sleep in it and a shower
the room smell was terrible . We ask for no smoking room and they put us in a smoking room. They told us that the hotel was a mile away from the Georgia Dome and that we could walk there and save the 10 dollars a day for parking and that was't so. It is too far away to walk and it is in a dangerous neighborhood where you can't walk if you want to stay alive. We had to pay parking daily which it wasn't in my budget.
The room is spatious, has a fridge and a microwave. It is in close walking distance (10 min) from the marta Civic Center station, can be reached conveniently. Very good price.
On the way from the hotel to the marta Civic Center station, there is a group of people standing the whole day and night along the street. Drug dealers? The police also was patrolling there a few times, and the hotel has a special security officer checking entry into the facilities. There was the odd small cockroach in the room.
It advertises High Speed Internet but it was not. We felt like we were on dial-up it was so slow. There was a dumpster right outside our room and mattresses that had been thrown out lying on the ground. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but only stayed for one night.
It was very convienant I attend concert at fox theatre, the marta station/ megabus station was right down the street all 3 was walking distance
Remote didnt work, phone didnt work, shower too small and no complimentary breakfast, bed too hard
I have trip with my monther and aunt. They like the facilities such us the microwave and the small kitchen. As for me, I found it good for the money
The internet speed was not fast
The Hotel is in downtown Atlanta in the slump area and there is homeless shelter nearby. These homeless people will be roaming throughout the night, and it becomes very unsafe at night. At night there are no hotel staff execpt one security gaurd who will be manning the whole complex and this is a compromise of security of guests with where the hotel is located. The hotel staff are no professionals. The incident which happened to me and my wife it should have been done by a manager. When we got into the hotel we were checked in by the security gaurd, as the keys were already done, that is to say managament knew the rooms which were occupied by the guests. For a manager to bust in my room without knocking I feel it is a lame excuse. Management had allocated me a room and the following day they bust my room it does not make sense. When my wife was about to prepare some snack in the kitchen that evening we checked in, there were roaches and she could not continue preparing the snacks. I thought the kitchen is a selling item to the hotel. They do not specify that they do not have tubs and they have showers. My wife love a bath not a shower and it was a disappointment. Customer care it is almost none, sure when the manager busted my room, she said sorry, and said that I thought it was not occupied. She went to the office and phoned us and I told her that we will checking out and she told me that, the checking out is at 11am. I did not see the value they place their customers, that is to say, the hotel is being opened every day because customers are coming in and they do not take care the customers then one loose business. We had to look for a safer hotel. I did not see the value of my money and the hotel would do me a favor if they would refund me my one night payment. For someone who would need a safe and secure enivornment I would not recommend Savnnah Suites, Atlanta.
There were roaches and it was in a dirty part of town
Location was horrible...this place was in an extremely dangerous area. Rooms were very smelly and had cockroaches.
